PPL (H) Training Course

The PPL (H) course requirements

FLIGHT INSTRUCTION

A minimum of 45 hours flying to include

• 25 hours dual instruction,

• 5 hours instrument dual instruction,

• 10 hours of supervised solo flight time (Including at least five hours of solo cross-country flight time with at least one cross-country flight of no less 100nm during which you will land away at 2 other airfields)

THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE INSTRUCTION

The theoretical knowledge syllabus of the PPL (H)

• Air Law and Operational Procedures

• Helicopter General and Principles of Flight

• Flight Performance and Planning

• Human Performance and Limitations

• Meteorology

• Navigation

• Communications.
